Database
This object is the basis of modeling and represents the database to be created in a PostgreSQL server as well as the model itself.
Schemas
In pgModeler, schemas (or namespaces) are objects used to separate several types of objects, either logically or graphically, including tables, views, functions, user-defined types, and many others.
Tables
Tables, or entities, are containers that store several kinds of other objects like columns, constraints, triggers, rules, indexes, policies, and partition keys.
Relationships
Relationships are the entities used to represent the link between two tables or between a table and a view.
Indexes
Indexes are applied to a set of columns and are primarily used to enhance database performance.
Views
Views are objects generated from queries that reference one or more tables or even use ordinary SQL expressions to compose their data.
Sequences
Sequences are incremental number generators mainly used to fill out primary key columns, but they can be used in several ways depending on the user's need.
