8.2.7. SQL sessions handling

pgModeler Plus implements a feature that avoids losing the typed SQL commands and the currently browsed databases in the Manage view. The SQL session plug-in allows one to restore the previous session in the database management view. This plug-in, before the user closes the tool, saves in a dedicated configuration file all details about the currently opened SQL execution tabs and the typed commands, as well as the browsed databases and the variables of the query variables plug-in used by each tab. After opening pgModeler again, the user just needs to click the button , located beside the connections combo box at the top of the database explorer (the button is enabled only when there is a session to restore, as in the first image below) to restore the previous session instead of going through the tedious task of browsing each database and loading all previously saved commands in the SQL execution widget (if that was the case).
